TREE I AT THE AMERICAN VISIONARY ART MUSEUM

This is the oak tree in front of the main entrance of the American Visionary Art Museum on Key Highway. It was decorated with many strands of mirrors, flashies and mirror creations. When it was being decorated we realized the Tree was not doing well. It was infested with termites and bag caterpillars, and after about a year, it died. These pictures give an idea of what it looked like during its heyday.
