THESE ARE EXAMPLES OF 'FLASHIES' - double-backed mirrors hanging on a filament

In the upper left you'll see a sample of what started it all - a single strand of double-sided mirrors hanging on a filament - that seemed to have imaginative possibilities—as you can see from the remainder of the samples on this page. Many flashies are single strands, many are multiple strands, and in different colors. "Flashy" is a loose description; some of these are in other shapes—see the first two pictures of the third column. The third "flashy", when turning in the breeze, at one point one seems a rectangle, at another point, a six-pointed star. The third picture is of several squares mounted inside each other.
